J. is for Josue

Josue is a writer and filmmaker splitting his time between Latin America and Asia.

His projects mainly revolve around coming of age, loss of innocence, and cultural shock.

Indigo Skies is set to be his first feature film as a writer and director. Some of his short films have screened in festivals around Europe, Asia, and North America.

When he’s not working on his projects, he likes to invest time in the communities around him. He spent six years in Bali, running filmmaking workshops for teenagers in the area, with the goal of giving them a voice through the visual arts.
